Default AU VCT Ghia on LPG what OIL

Hi Guys,

Well apart from being in the BA Ghia club we now own a AU07/99 Ghia in Gold with 17in ROH mags.

The big plus apart from the VCT its running on LPG, I would like to know what oil to run in this beast. pretty good buy with 89,000kms.

Factory sunroof is a good addition too !!

Pics soon

Penrite HPR Gas 10 (I think it's a 10W 40). But anything in the 10W to 50W range should be fine, especially with the low kms (for age). I think standard oil for the I6 is 10W40 (HPR10), so no real need to move away from that just because it's on gas, though Penrite do recommend HPR Gas 10, and they are the oil experts. I use HPR Gas 10 in my XR8, and it's fine.

You don't need to choose Penrite either -any oil specified as suitable for Gas & Petrol will be fine, in the 10W40 range, and with at least an SJ rating.

I use HPR 10 Gas. It's 10w/50.

ELF 10w-40? should be ok for gasm but as has been said HPR 10 Gas has proven to be a decent drop for the money.

Excellent guys will tell the old fella. nice car. it feels weird the BA feels planted on the road more but the AU feels plusher.

Cant help but feel the AU is the classier car inside.
