Performance Garage? As in mechanical/performance workshop specialising in Fords?

A few

Ierace Automotive in Maddington 08 9459 1333- did my engine build on the windsor, very happy

A1 High Performance in Melville- sell more parts than carry out work anymore as the owner Leon is quite ill. Very well regarded with Ford stuff though. Wasn't interested in doing my engine at all.

Kostecki's don't know that much about them- have heard as many bad stories as good ones. They do a lot witrh V8 Supercar stuff. Had the impression they would want to deal with you if you had alot or wanted to spend alot of money. I did ask them about building my engine- they had different ideas to me and thought I was stupid.

Black Mac Performance in Morley 08 9275 1333- fairly new and seem to be targeting late model stuff. Seem nice and friendly and professional but have no idea about their record.

BPT a site sponsor (link up top)

Simon from Xtreme Ford Tuning 0433 405 278. Guru on XR6T/F6 gear. Tuning primarily but also deals with Nizpro kits and other upgrades. Has had a lot of Ford's finest cars from 9sec Clevo's, T3, GT-P, XR6T, F6 Typhoon- all been modded and all scared the crap out of me. Highly recommended.

Marks Workshop in York- Ultimate blower destination. Very highly regarded in this field.

That's all I can think of.....

Hope this is what you wanted.

BLUESTREAK built 5.2L flat-plane-crank VOODOO with 3.2L Intercooled Kenne Bell blower, 1000rwhp/746rwkw @ 8000rpm @ 20psi on E85. Built ZF with BLUESTREAK 2C Circle D converter. Unbloodybelievable...

a few hours on the production line so I'm told : these builds do blow out but 6 months is a long time in anyones book..... that's pretty mush everything you're doing mate, but yeah- 6 months :

Haven't had anything to do with them- It was almost impossible to find someone that WANTED to do a windsor and was excited about it- that's why Ierace's got the job.

I was less then impressed with them, the didn't seem to want to know about the EL and the information they gave me was a load of BS. That said and being new, they might know their stuff when it comes to the BA's onwards.

Jeez it's frustrating trying to find someone that seems keen to do work on your car isn't it? I have only been to Black Mac's on one occaision a few weeks back for the dyno comp and I came third so it was a good experience for me- I haven't had any dealings with them regarding actually having any work done......

I know the fella, Kristian that used to work there left and went to Kostecki's- he may have made a difference there- I hope so. I did find him good to deal with when he was at MacInerney's (prior to the performance side becoming Black Mac's)

As I said though- I did get the impression the BA's were what was being targeted at Black Mac's........
