Default Gillespie To Score A Ton?

I have been following the cricket on Fox Sports all afternoon, watching the marathon nightwatchman innings of Dizzy Gillespie.

Will he score his maiden ton?? 50 n/o with a strike rate of 29 only. This may take a while.

Edit: I have about 97 channels I think and I'm watching this! sleep:

Would show the selecters that they may have made a mistake dropping him for that long.

He's been playing well, even though the Bangladeshis are a minnow in the world of test cricket.

Exactly! He should have been recalled well before this series.

Go dizzy!

Would be good to see him get a ton. Would stick it right up the noses of the selectors. 3/11 and 100 runs.

Hope he does it. And bloody glad were doin better now then we did last test. That was a shocker.

but he is there to take wickets not get runs, and we want him back because he can take them against the a minnow like this and not the poms, too old blood a new younger guy. Heard an interview with someone the other day and if this side stays together to the end of the next world cup they will have 8 people over 35. Can you imagine all of them retiring at once.

sure, itd be nice if he made a ton, but hes wasting valuable time for the team to score runs.

his job as a nightwatchman is over, and frankly, if any bowler ever gets promoted to nwm, they need to tee off first thing the next morning, cause theyre only holding up proceedings.

he's getting closer. he's now 82 off 253 balls lol with 14 4's
its not like the aussies are gonna lose the test anyways so who cares if he is taking that long? gilly can always come in and smack the ball around for a bit to improve the run rate

Absolutely, the poor 1st innings from the Bangers means there's still heaps of time - 2 1/2 days to play. In theory, the Aussies put on another 250 or so, leaving the Bangers chasing about 375 or surviving a day and a half. Easy!!

Go Dizzy!!

Well done Dizzy from a felow South Aussie & well done to Boof Jnr for being named in the one day squad. Now Andrew Hilditch is a selector we might get a few tallented croweaters.
