Default Stereo problem

Hi people - thanks for your help with getting the pocket for the double din to single din head unit problem.

Only problem I've got now is that the car - has a automatic aerial that comes up when you switch to radio and the head unit doesnt have a wire or capable to do it.

Can I wire the wires for that aerial to accessories power and to a earth so when he turns on the car - the aerial comes up??? any ideas?

You could wire it to a manual switch or even to the power wire (red) for the head unit. Only problem wit wiring straight to red wire is that the aerial will always be up whenever the head unit is on - even if you're playing a CD. Only a minor issue though.

i'd put a manual switch in it would be a lot better than having the aerial constantly up

would there be a way to rig it up to the aerial half/full mast button. so you press it and the aerial is all the way down/up instead of half or all?
