Question EB Interior door handle problem

What do you guys do to stop them going dry and white,Can i paint them with a clear coat?

I'm sure the good old baby oil treatment works on the door handles as well: Cruise control buttons and demist buttons are notorious for going white like this.

I'm off to bed now, need my beauty sL33p... :

once theyve started going like that, there reaslly isnt much that'll keep em nice.
you could try sanding them and painting them up..., or just replacing them from a wreckers

But the ones from the wreckers are even worse, thats why i was thinking of giving then a couple of clear coats


Any oil just rubs off in a week.

Depends which wreckers you goto, some actually take care of their parts, but you can also go on eBay, there's usually someone wrecking their E-series for cash.

Have you tried Armor-All or silicone spray??

just keep soakin in armorall every couple of days
and keep doing it lol
my little grey plastic dish behind the p/window buttons has to be amoralled all the time...as is any skerric of plastic/dash wateva in the car

just wack ef/l trims on from a wreckers. looks great. cost me less than a hundred bucks and really easy to install. that was for my ed though so I am not sure if there are differences in screw holes etc for ea/b
