i think if u offer them 51/2 they will laugh at ya,go 8500 and theyll say 9 and you go deal thats wat id pay.
look around youll see 6cyl ghias going for 12g,buy it

Bargain for the 5.0L but that all depends on what a "suss service history" is to you.
Does it have a log book?
When was it last serviced?
How bad is the paint for it to need that cut & polish? You say it's tidy...
So, a tidy EL Ghia V8, LOW k's, 16"xr wheels..
If you don't buy it someone else will. Next to the GT's, these were probably the best buy from the E-series range.

I think it is a reasonable price, the only real issuses are with the 6 cyl - heads & gaskets.

Sounds like a bargain! I paid 16K for the exact same type of vehicle this time last year. Although, mine had less K's and the interior/exterior is perfect (except for the yellow headlight thing)

don't think u'll get it heaps cheaper, but try and get emt to knock it down.
the 5.0 can take more of a bashing then the 4.0 :P
