Default el xr front

hey guys having a read on the fordmods doco on how to do this to a ef and it says that you need an el rebar to be able to do this???
Im assuming the rebar is like a structural bar that bolts onto the inside of the front bar and then gets bolted to the chassis???????
Also if i went to Bayford's and bought an el xr front bar would it come with this "rebar"?

i thought it was called a "reo" as in "reinforcement". It'd be the same thing though. Those Fordmods boyz are living on a different planet mate......a different planet.... _

To the best of my knowledge: The reinforcing bar behind an XR bar is slightly different to the standard one in that it has two plastic brackets that support the top of the bar that don't appear on the standard one, and aren't really necessary. It also has two slight cut-outs at the ends of the reinforcing bar to accomodate the round headlights protruding where the standard lights dont.

In summary, you can use the standard one successfully. Figuring out where the cut the notches for the lights will be obvious when you bolt the bumper skin to the rebar, and that should be all you have to do.

I cant see Ford crash testing a specific part for XR series cars only, so my guess is that it is all codswallop.
I bet that the EL Bar will fit straight on, with the lights of course....lol
