I noticed the indicators in the Fairlane are blinking slowly. Do they have an old style blinker can or something more sinister?

blinker flasher relay is in your fusebox by your right leg. Gets lazy after a while. Take it out, smack it on the concrete a few times, put it back in, should be good.

I've always wanted to slow my blinkers down a bit to be more like an older car. Any quick fix for that?

flasher unit as mentioned is in your inside fuse box - take it out slap it on the concrete then back your car over it and leave it on the concrete and fit a new flasher unit

mmm ..........13/14 years must be the about the time when these flasher/can/relays start thinking about retirement, was waiting at the lights today and it stopped flashing , i turned it off and put it back on and away it went again no problems, i might invest another identical branded unit if i can get one, 14 years is a pretty good service life.
AU falcon , rock on ! |
