Hi, I have a 2008 Ford Focus TDCi.
I went to change the interior dome light on the weekend to an LED one. Took me a while to remove the light fixture, but finally managed to take it off. I unplugged the two cables (didnt have to do this), i removed the globe holder and took out the wedge globe and replaced with an LED one. I put it all back together and now when the switch is set to the neutral position it stays on constantly even when the doors are shut. On and Off switches work as normal. The screen in the instrument panel doesnt say there are any doors open. I have checked the fuse, its fine. What could it be? Thanks, Loris |

Its not the globe, I put the original wedge globe back and it stays on as well now.

Sounds like you may have bridged the wires somehow, creating a circuit, making it on the whole time?

Has it got a timed delay on the lighting (ie light gradually goes out about 10seconds after door is closed ??)
