My partners lad has an AU II Futura with stock suspension but it has been lifted at the rear as it was used for towing by the previous owner. We're going to get wheels for it but before we do that we need to get it sitting right.
We'd like it to have the same stance etc as an XR and I was looking for any advice on how to achieve that. Would it be easier to find second hand XR stuff or can we do it using aftermarket gear. So what it boils down to is what are the differences between AU II FutUra suspension and AU II xr suspension. |

As far as I remember, the shocks are the same size between the futura and the XR, but the XR springs are the same height as King Springs 'Lows'.

i could be wrong , but i think the xr springs might be a bit higher rated poundage,
i`ve been in my mates s1 fairmont, and my s2 xr rides a bit firmer according to the bumo meter. |
