Hi guys, Im new here on here.
I just bought a mk2 escort 77' and im restoring it, i got the 2l pinto engine out and getting that machined and new pistons rings etc. Along with the rest of the car i am fixing/about to repray the body etc. And i have bought a brand new grill to put into my car, only to find out the one that has come off is different! It has like a 3 degree angle in the centre of the frill so its a sight V. where the one i have bought is flat. Ive asked a few people about this and i cant find anyone who has really heard of this, let alone have one. what is this grill from? Any help/advise on where to get another one as the orginal one from this car is missing a few mounts and has been painted over from previsous owner with crap that will be just easier to replace. cheers for advise in advance. |

There's really only two types of '77 Escort grille.
The Standard grill and the RS2000. Got a pic? |

That's correct. Being a '77 It should have a "Ford" grille. Mine did anyway.
