Default Dreamscience Tuning

Thought id start this for guys with XR5T Focus that are interested in a re map for their Focus but arent interested in custom tuning.
Now if this turns into a Off the shelf tuning vs custom ill hand out some warnings. Now i dont work for said company

These tunes transform the car, and with a few mods they move along quite nicely over the standard tune.
They have just released a 'Turbo X' Map that involves a Hybrid turbo, Mk2 RS Injectors and oil cooler.
The development for these cars is really going ahead.

I assume these are compatible with our LV Focus ECUs? They aren't any different at all?

Can you use these to load up other custom maps, I was talking to a performance tuner overseas and he said he can do a tune for me but I need a unit to flash it onto my ECU, I assume these would do that?

Id reckon the I5T is different to the diesel one. Happy to be proven wrong though.
But yeah their tunes are flashed onto the ECU.

So would you be able to revert it to the standard tune when it goes back to the dealer for a service and they wouldn't know any better?

Just being careful of voiding my warranty.....

You can flash it back to standard, IIRC the ECU cannot be read at dealer level but at Ford HQ it can.
You can also ask for the ECU upgrade not to be performed, but its better to flash to standard.
Ive had no issues thus far with mine, but mine is no longer serviced at Ford.
Its a case of 'You play you pay'. But depends on how you get along with your dealer if its serviced at Ford.
