Not sure if this is the correct place to post this but I have just been informed of the death of John "Chopper" Katsanis of John's Rod and Custom, John's Rod and Custom Picnic and the Kustom Nationals. An awesome guy who had the ability to make you feel like you were the most important person at his event.

seems like as gooder place as any to post it
I never met John but his work with the kustom seen was fanominal and if any one likes the holden Effegie thing do a google search and check out Choppers FJ that was started long before

very sad i had the pleasure of knowing john he was a business partner of a good friend of mine over 20 years ago he was a very nice bloke my sympathy to his family cheers gary

That's pretty sad news. His boys seem to be good blokes and will keep his name alive through their work and hopefully the continuation of the events he started. I hang out for the Picnic and Kustomnats, a highlight of each year. That's going to be one hell of a funeral procession. RIP
