Default Forgotten Supercars

I stumbled across some pics of some luxury cars that have been abandoned.

Its ashame to see some cars that even today you would be doing well to be able to afford them, just sitting there in ruins.

heres a few of the pics I've found.

Ferrari

Lamborghini

Shelby Daytona Coupe

Rolls Royce

Corvette

Unknown

Old Porsche

Late Model Ferrari

Unknown

Porsche 911

Fastback Mustang

Gullwing Merc

Very sad...nothing worse than the old "It's not for sale, I'm going to do it up...one day..." line that the cretins who own cars like this spin every time someone tries to purchase one.

i think the saddest one is the Lamborghini Miura (with that weird "nudge bar" arrangement on the front ). Those are rightly considered to be probably one of the most beautiful cars ever designed, and it certainly deserves a better fate than this...

Hell, if these upset people, don't visit the website carsinbarns.com...

You'll laugh, you'll cry...mostly cry...

The Shelby Daytona may have only been partially restored if it is the ex-Spector Csx2287 chassis (google for bizarre story and why it wasn't fully restored)

Late Model Ferrari

Gotta be the ferrari 550 maranello - front mounted v12, callipers are in the right position and the fuel tank access is the give away for me.

I think that may be an ex Uday Hussein car. As well as being a not very nice person he was meant to be nuts about exotics.

Saddam trashed some of them when they had a family tiff and the coalition of the willing did some damage to them when they went through Iraq. The general population kicked up a bit about it to.

In Bundaberg there used to be a well-known Bathurst Monaro...genuine 327 with four speed and the four exhaust pipes at the back. It was faded red with a bit of rust, stripes still visible, windows dirty, original wheels, just real "tired", but all there and totally original.

I lost count over the years of the number of people I knew who had asked if they wanted to sell it..."No, we're going to do it up...one day"...

No idea where the car is now...we haven't lived in Bundy for nearly three years but it used to be a fairly common sight.
