Default Sydney All Ford Day - Sunday July 25

We are once again looking to attend the Sydney All Ford Day, being held at the Eastern Creek Raceway.

More details here:

You can either travel up on the day or go the day before and stay overnight; at the moment we are looking at accommodation options around the $120-$150 mark. Once we get an idea of how many people are interested in attending we can lock in a definite price for accommodation.

If you'd like to join us, add your name to the list:

Whats the go with this day? As i've never been before, just unsure of what the day actually involves. As a club do our cars sit there all day? Is everyone displaying their car? Any help would be great.

Cheers
Al

Yeah it's a static display.

drive in, park, clean, sit around under a tent, walk around perusing the other cars, enjoy the day, drive out.

Sorry guys, I have to travel to Melbourne on the 25th with work so Nic and I won't be able to make this trip - apologies.

I'm not sure how many people are driving down on the day and how many are staying overnight? The Chifley Hotel is right next to Eastern Creek track but the cheapest room they have on Wotif is $170 and its open-air parking. If you're after fully secure under-cover parking, you may need to look somewhere like Parramatta (about 15-20 minutes drive). Probably best to jump onto Wotif and have a search.

G'day all I came on a cruise about 12 months ago but work commitments at the time ended up having me work when drives were on so I didn't join, have since changed jobs. And get most weekends off... So am thinking of heading down for the day and was wondering if there is people heading up in the morning and if you mind me tagging along.

Cheers Kyle

Ok...
For those heading up to Eastern Creek on Sunday morning meet at Shell EPIC site for a 5.00am departure. Head up to be at Eastern Creek around 7.30-7.45 to meet up with those who will already up their outside the Chifley Hotel same place we meet up last year then drive into the show as a group Team ACT.

I will now be heading up on Sunday morning if those who live in gods part of Canberra (the deep south) we can meet somewhere (Caltex Calwell) and travel to Shell EPIC together.

Let us know which day you will be leaving so we dont leave anyone behind.

Also ONLY ONE (1) STOP on this trip so make sure that you are ready to leave and dont need to use a rest room 30 minutes out of Canberra. (not naming people BUT ........)

Leaving Saturday and meeting Sunday morning
Craig Barnes & Family

Leaving Sunday

Big Glenn

Thanks

The club needs as many nice cars as it can get since the mighty mondeo won't be in attendance
