Default AU 1 Power window conversion.

I have a couple of issue's with the au! three window winder mechanism clips keep detaching from the windows when wound down. What is the best fix?

When i removed the drivers door trim the snipper button was not attached to anything, not sure where the missing rod attaches to.

Lastly being a Forte with manual winders i would like to add power windows in the front doors atleast, if i add the motor and new door loom is it difficult in joining to the under dash wiring?

thanks.

You need a silicone lubricant for the the wondow rubber and then head off to a panel beater supply shop for some special silicone glue.Cheers.

firstly with the remote sounding the horn and not locking, don't take it with you take it off you key ring if its not there it doesn't have to work. now with the picture your showing i assume your talking about the red one, if so its the one for the button on the door trim if thats not the one you mean then you may have to explain further but there should be 2 one for the lock barrel and the other for actual lock button and you seem to have both in the pic.
