Post SMS Alerts

this came about from me missing an event I would have loved to go to.

ever thought of SMS alerts regarding cruises/meets.

sometimes you miss a thread or forget about it, especially if your email notification is off or not subscribed to a thread.

think of how many more people could roll up to big events with recepients forwarding them to mates etc....

this here site could grow even more.

just a thought....

Thought about putting it in your calendar on your phone with an alarm?

for me, a little lazy, there is nothing easier than receiving an sms reminder.

just the cost of it as NJXR6 was eluding to might not be worth it but on the up side it could attract the masses.

If events are added to the calendar - which they should be - then you can request an email reminder for that event. A lot of them don't get put there which is half the issue.

Cheers

if cost is an issue perhaps set it up for the recipient to pay .50¢ everytime they receive an sms and AFF to pay 0.0
