Ford posts profit on one-time items

Ford Motor Co. announced Thursday a quarterly profit of 2.26 billion US dollars on one-time gains, as it narrowed its operating loss to 424 million US dollars.

This is good news, things are looking up for FORD..my comment

Taken from the autoblog article:

A new passenger car plant was launched in Thailand in partnership with Mazda to build Mazda2 and Ford Fiesta models, which will be exported throughout the Southeast Asian market beginning this fall

Which means the tight supply of Fiesta should ease up before the end of the year! This should add to Ford's Australian sales and market share.
