Wasn't there an na S1 that pulled a claimed 13.8 (auto as well) a few years back? Think his user name was hamo or hambo...

As for outright quickest times, I have no idea!

Damn...

I wanna get an n95 this weekend and get that Tempes GT program to get my 1/4 mile time.

The old girl has been so responsive the last few days.. Chirps in second through my auto on occasion (is that bad? lol)

Seems so much smoother since that pod has gone on (probably all placebo though)

So in NA form so far an au has run a 13.8 correct? Any other information?Ie 60 footers,mph?

On thisforum so far the quickest au six na ran a 14.226..tripower.Second is the wagon at 14.241 and then hamo 14.301..

It just seems we may be behind the pace a little.

We are way behind the pace. There was one on aufalcon.com that I saw claiming a 13.9, but Im sure thats just what it was, a claim, no hard proof to back it up.

Not au2pwr? I know for a fact that its not my s2 Ghia....

Not sure exactly what times he has got, but Casper was in the low-to-mid 14s i think...??

hopefuly i will be up for the running soonish, im waiting to replace my std cat with a hiflow (group buy) then when my mate gets the sniper tuning ability a tune then it will hopefully go better.

Because the 14.4@99 i ran was without tune and havent been back in top form since.

But other than that i havent heard of any numbers, BUT!! one of my mates sold his car (man s2 i6) to a guy who apparently done a 6 throttle conversion and APPARENTLY pulled over 200rwkw. but i have no proof and havent heard anything more about it.

Weve got a whole 4.0 litres here and were stuck pushing 14's. Something is wrong.We are overlooking an essential basic power mods. I think we should all be 13 to 13.5 second 1/4 miles.I think its very possible but we just havent been pushing as hard since Casper left...Lets try it....why dont we push for it ? I think the only limits are those we impose by self limiting beliefs.

Was that you (cruising loudly) past macarthur fraud(narrellen) monday I think arvo in your wagon. I was talking to a sales guy in the yard and we heard the wagon and we both stop and stared

. I said cool hey they guy didnt really get it??????

It sounded tough any way.

Mate just wack a turbo(low boost for work duties) on it and you'll be in another league. Wind it up for a bit of fun........

What essential basic power mods do you think people are missing?

I will be joining the NA team again. Turbo is coming off. If i manage too sell the turbo gear for what i bought it for it will be going to NA mods. Im feeling lots of headwork, really bit cam, lots of fuel, really big stall, 3.7's, and tune (possibly new ECU). Also a different intake setup. Try using the nismo/snort style plenum and some nice pipework to maximise airflow. I hope to run a 14.5 with this setup.. If i dont i will be ****ed lol.

Long stroy short.. Through a big mistake, and the RTA not doing their job correctly, i will be on green p plates for longer then expected and will have restictions. So no turbo or v8. In the end.. Shi3t happens, thats life, move on.

Yes it was me in Narellan champ..I had nipped up to Camden airport for some works down there. It wasnt that loud was it

I think our exhausts can be dramatically improved. Same as intake manifold. The intake is ok but not that good. As far as flow goes I really dont think the throttle body position is any good.They should have fitted it facing the other way or better a side draught straight into the head.

Mine is still stock as a rock untill i my ol' man back for covering the payment for a new auto for me :P

After that comes the mod's step by step. I have a few interesting idea's in mind and will hopefully create some interest once i create a project thread

Its all relevant to the amount of money people are willing to put into their cars really.. Im considering to pore a fair bit into my car and see where it gets me. Only problem is i will have to pay about 25% more then most people just because i live in Wagga.. Sucks haha.

I dont think its about the money but more what to do the proper way ..
