vehicle inspection in Vic??

I'm in Brisbane and i'm interested in a car in Vic. I want to have a pre-purchase inspection done on it first though.

Can anyone recommend a company or motoring group in Vic other than RACV(their inspection stations are too far from the car)

Pre-purchase inspections are carried out by RACV.
When you request a booking online or call us on 13 RACV
(13 72 28) you will need to have the following details:

the address where the vehicle to be inspected will be located
the make, model and year of manufacture of the vehicle
the name and contact number of the seller of the vehicle
any modifications that have been made to the vehicle

The inspection is based on a visual external examination of components only. Components are not dismantled to examine internal parts. Some vehicle faults can be diagnosed only by dismantling the engine or are intermittent in operation and not evident from an external examination at the time of inspection.

Yeah as i said RACV only do inspections in four of their locations none of them are within miles of this car. They do mobile inspections to but for some stupid reason LTD's have to be done at one of their inspection stations.

I think Highton is a suburb of Geelong. If that is the case the only dealer that i know of down that way is Rex Gorrell ford.
