FYI, it is a replica not a genuine GT.

Very beautiful car, none the less!

Do you think it could be related to the monaro theft being both at wintersun?

To have three muscle cars stolen from one location seems to me that there is some sort of criminal organisation taking them. As above will keep an eye out but wouldn't hold my breath

Do these kind of cars attract the same kind of money overseas as they do in Australia? Or would they be goin to Aussie's overseas if this was the case.

Another Falcon GT Stolen ... same area as the Wild Plum Hardtop.

Info as follows:

Some low life stolen my fathers pride and joy last. Just wondering if you could help spread the word. This XY was one of 2 that came from factory with colour code "spec"
Zercon Green. I have attached pics and a reward is being offered. It is probably already in pieces..
They broke steering lock, brake and clutch padlock, and in locked garage.
Car is (was) housed in Narrabri but it was taked in Coolangatta.

Thanks

even then they will find it in the car, and cut it out, might still have half a chance of following it somewhere though...
id imagine they know a thing or two about the car before taking it, they might even break in beforehand to suss it out and leave no trace... god knows...

GPS trackers are near useless against a pro. Any pro car theif would have a $59.95 jammer.

This isn't the one I came across last time but it'd probably do the job. There are heaps out there...

That sucks big time. I had mine down there sunday I was lucky to get a park on the main street. I pulled the rotor button out of it and being the main street just up from macca's. I thought it would be to much attention for a thief, to have a tilt tray pull up and grab her. That and the fact I would walk past her every 30mins or so, proberly a bit paranoid but better being safe then sorry. But these people need to be caught and jailed or better still both hands cut off so they can't steal again. :togo:

Was thinking of heading to Wintersun today mate, all the best in getting her back, but to be honest i wouldn't be holding your breath.

Anything is too good for these f***ers, they need a slow painful death.

Not so long ago I worked for the feds in Canberra. One of the senior coppers out there would tell me to lock up my GT everytime summernats comes around because the theft rate on these cars goes through the roof. He also told me the recovery rates were less than 20%.
