Hi guys ive had a look at some of the other threads and stuff on electric window problems, mine is i think a little bit different.
Both of my switches for the passenger side window won't go back up, when i push either switch down i can hear the motor clicking but when i push it to go back up it doesn't go anywhere and i cant hear the motor trying to work. Took apart the switch and cleaned it out but still the same problem. What's worst is that it started raining today and had to cover the window with tarp. Would this be a switch problem still, or has the motor carked it in one direction??? |

Make sure the bailey(sp?) channel isn't stuffed and the glass isn't just binding in the channel. Try jiggling the glass as you hit the up button and it might come up. If that turns out to be the problem just puff some graphite powder down the channel and it will free up the track. In fact it's probably a good idea to give all the windows a puff periodically to keep everything running smoothly. It will prolong the life of the electric window motors which have to work overtime when the bailey channel loses its felt covering.

if you don't want to use graphite powder try using silicon spray. i do all my window channels every few months or so to keep them running freely and avoid stressing the motors too much.
