Now how the heck do I justify 2 momo steering wheels and gear selectors?
Oh and the Tickford dashes, and the chrome door handles X8 and the chrome gear selector surrounds, and the ..... and the ..... and the...... LOL!

GK[/QUOTE]
Forget the momo wheels - look at the ones supplied by Autotek (Ratglobal on ebay). They are GT-P rim, with AUY centre so your existing AU airbag will fit. They are big and chunky and beautiful!

How to justify one? Stanley knife slashing each of the others should do the trick.

I got the black with silver inserts - it is all black rim, whereas the others are dark grey with black at the top and bottom.

They are all $200 plus $20 postage. The closest to all black would be the Black/silver one - you would just need to paint the silver insert black to match (it's some sort of plastic, so should be fine to paint) - or paint it Blueprint!

Links don't work as they are, so here they are without the fancy text:

I remember getting my Au2 Forte near new, completely stock and i walked out of ford saying this car is perfect and finally i dont have to do a thing to it!!!
Then it started,speaker change,window tints,rims,springs,shocks,swaybar,extractors,exhau st,painted calipers,cai,k&n,painted rocker,de-badged,momo wheel and shifter,new stereo.Does it ever end??? And i thought the hubcaps were cool :

Good to hear at 50+ your still into it and got something to look foward to , wd . The AU series cars are definatelly imo the best ford so far and suit any age driver. My father recently had a drive of my AUII xr6 vct and was stoked , he hadn't had a ford for years ( since his EB fairmont ), should of seen the grin on his face , like a kid , now he's on about selling his tissuebox rav4 and getting andther ford , preferably the AU or BA/BF series , but from the sounding of it so far i think he likes the AU series better too . gl anyway and get into it ..lol ;)

If the silver bit is plastic, and you had to paint it, then the bit you hang onto each day when you drive is actually not leather, but plastic! eeeeeeyyyoooooouuu! LOL!

Momo leather for me, sometime in the next decade or so! LOL!

I see the scenario right now, in ten years time:
Salesman "That'll be $745 for the wheel, $345 for the gear selector please!"

If you hold the wheel correctly (1/4 to 3, or 1/4 past 9), then you are always holding leather - nice, comfortable, chunky leather. The days of 10 to 2 are gone - 2.45 is the right position.
