Insurance kilometrage limit

I recently went to update some details on my 3rd party property damage policy for my BA Falcon. I was told that the policy was for 5000 km only and was that correct. Up till then I had no idea that the policy was kilometrage limited. I presume that was somewhere in the small print on the product information but I had missed it. I then asked how much it was for 10,000km and was told it was $8 more! The policy was with RAC WA. It might be worth while for the rest of you to make sure that there is not some sort of limit on your policy.
