How often do you drive your Mondeo through long grass?
There is a warning in the owner's manual about parking over long vegetation. |

Funnily enough I parked in long grass yesterday after getting home from work (120km trip) as I had to remove a drive belt from my (new) mower and wanted to grab it quick and rush back to town to try to get a replacement. As it was it took an hour to remove what was left of the old belt and I ran out of time.
It did occur to me to be wary of the DPF and I kept a close eye on it.

Good thing I keep a fire extinguisher in my car. I actually forgot about this so good reminder.
