Default what is camber kit for ef

just fitted lower springs to my ef sedan and tyre guy did a wheel alignment but suggested down the track to fit a camber kit,what is a camber kit and is it something with limited mechanical knowledge can i fit,any help well appreciated

its fitted in with your suspension to correct the angle of your tyres which would be leaning towards the center of the car, or in some other cases, leaning out :S

You can fit it, but you will need it aligned professionally again. Just get Pedders or someone to fit and align it.

Bear in mind there are shim or ratchet adjustable types, prices and quality vary too. The best thing would be to ask your local tyre store which type they recommend.

If you can swing spanners you can fit a camber kit yourself. A shim type kit replaces the upper wishbone to body mounts, with mounts that have longer threads, to allow more shims to be added.

How low did you go coz I have King superlows and pedders told me I didn't need a camber kit. Other people did tho.
