Default sales question

Hi everyone

Thinking of putting some radiator caps on ebay for sale and wondered what you guys think they're worth and what to put as starting price to get rid of them

They're not that old and a lot have only been on cars maybe 15-30 minutes at most since new,

Was thinking 99c as starting bid and $8.00 or make offer for buy now

Check out what others are selling their caps for on eBay and base off those prices. You'll need to state them as "used" (save some possible drama when sold) and put their usage in the sellers comments.

Not sure how you'll go, but can't hurt to try.

A couple of other things to consider;

How much did they cost you? (you don't really want to be selling them at a loss)
Are you going to include postage?

Paid about 12.00 each for them but might take a reasonable offer if someone offered say $8-$10 and it'll cost for postage shouldn't be much

You could also give Gumtree a try.
I've had good success on there, and saves a heap on eBay fees.

It can be very risky listing them for 99˘ as that's probably what you'll end up selling them for—plus be stuck with postage costs. If you paid 12 bucks for them, that should be your starting price.

Having said that though, with small cheaper stuff, the auction choice is not the best one.
