Sorry, this is a dumb question I know. I recently bought a 2010 XR5 Turbo, and the bonnet release lever has fallen off. I have the lever, but for the life of me can't see where it goes! The manual makes it look as though it attaches on on the right hand side just in front of the driver's side door, but I can't see where. Help me please!

I thought they just had a locking mechanism, flip the Ford oval on the grille, insert key from remote (remove from holder), turn left then right to open the bonnet...wasn't aware of an internal lever.

Thanks folks, I found it! I did check the owner's manual, but was thrown by the lever being on the passenger side - never had another car with the bonnet release not on the driver's side!
