Question External Modifications to engine?????

Can anyone help me???? I would like to make some small modifications to my EB series 2 falcon without stripping the engine as it is a daily driver, is there anything i change, EG: air filter, plugs etc: to gain a couple of extra kilowatts? I am not fussy, only a couple of kilowatts will do! Just simple things as my mechanical skills are virtually non-existant!!!!

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Assuming its MultiPoint

Fit an XH snorkle, no rwkw, but a better feeling engine, will cost about $35.00

new plugs and leads might gain you something if your old ones are in poor condition, same as replacing the dizzy cap and rotor.

extractors will gain you something, if you have a few $$$'s to spend

one of my mates has an eb and he cut a 80mm hole in his tyre well and ran some 3inch mandrell bent stainless pipe from his intake through this hole and put a pod filter on it. Massive cold air flow. picked up half a second to 100 ks.

I got a good result on my old ED by fitting headers and a 2 1/2" system as well as a K&N panel filter. No dyno figures but a good increase in power, especially down low could be felt. New plugs, check the leads and replace the coil is always a good start too.

I found a bit crisper throttle response but no power gain I could feel. A pod gives a better result but the panel is easy as it is a direct fit. The other plus is you can clen them often and don't have to fork out fo new filters all the time. IMO opinion they are worth it if you can't be bothered modifying for a pod (which has to be enclosed due to heat for best result)

A cam. While its not an external mod, its also not striping down the motor.
