Default Alternator

Just wondering guess will a series 2 ea fairmont alternator fit into a eb series 2 with out cutting or chaging looms around. ??? thanxs guys

you will need an adapter loom that goes from the mitsubishi style altenator to the bosch style altenator. i think you can buy these seperate or make up your own.

Correct John, Most Autoelectricians have the Mitsubishi to Bosch Adaptor plug. Just not the other way around unless you make your own like I have done in the past

i just tried to fit the bosch alternator to my eb and it wont fit, the bracket seems to be smaller for the mitsue. Ill have to get a bosch style bracket as well, the wiring isnt the problem just mounting it, ive converted the plugs.

the brackets are the same, i thought that to at first but it turns out all you have to do is loosen off all the bracket bolts and just move it around untill the holes line up for the new altenator.
