Default What the hell are some people thinking?

This is just crazy.
Imagine the look on the officers face.

A MOTORIST who took the law into his own hands to end a police pursuit through Perth's southern suburbs is likely to be charged with dangerous driving.
His unsolicited involvement ended with a 20-year-old female motorcyclist being taken to hospital with a broken leg.

A police spokeswoman said officers from the dog squad were trying to stop the unregistered motorcycle rider in Wellard at about 4.30pm yesterday.

The 48-year-old Harrisdale man was travelling ahead of the motorbike on Lambeth Circle and saw the pursuit.

He allegedly tried to slow down in attempt to stop the motorbike, but police and the rider passed his car near a roundabout.

“After he was overtaken, he exited the roundabout and went onto the other side of the road and followed the police and the bike,” the police spokeswoman said.

“He’s then accelerated past the police car and the bike, braked heavily, and steered into the path of the bike.”

The 20-year-old rider was flung from her bike when it smashed into the back of the car and suffered a fractured leg.

She was taken to Fremantle Hospital for treatment.

The driver of car was questioned by police and is expected to be charged with dangerous driving.

What an idiot!

He's lucky he didn't kill her.

Emergency Services do not need our help - they need us to stay away and leave them to do their jobs.

Good on him. Maybe the public are just getting sick of seeing idiots every day. The more of this will make the clowns think about being above eveyone else.

I do not see anything good coming out of this thread.

His actions were illegal, he put other peoples lives at risk, he does not have the right equipment for law enforcement. Most importantly he has no legal obligation nor right to act in a law enforcement capacity.

That is what we have police for, lets let them do their job and do our best to remain out of their way, that is how good citizens assist the police.

What if the motorcyclist had died, death for forgetting to pay your rego, fool!

I agree with Penelope and Interceptor, keep out of the way and let the coppers deal with the problem.
This dipstick is simply a Legend in his own lunchtime.
The bike rider will now probably sue him for all he is worth.
