I know its an embarrassing thing to do, but every now and then I manage to stall the Focus, not having enough revs up when I let the clutch out, or especially in tight carparks trying to maneuver the car I sometimes stall it.
When I go to start the car, I never have any problems - when I'm starting it after leaving it sit for a while. But if I stall it, and go to start it again straight away (apart from almost having to turn the key all the way off to be able to turn it to "start" again) it seems to take AGES to crank over, sometimes I even have to give it a decent bit of right foot to convince it to start. Just wondering if others have this issue, or whether its normal or not, to me it doesn't seem normal to be having trouble starting a warm engine!

Common fault. Our 2ltr petrol focus is hard to stop-say drive to shops -turn off -turn on a few minutes later- reading previous posts just a focus quirk. I dont worry about it.
