Default e-series heads

hey guys quik question am looking to work a head for my ef falcon are all e-series heads the same eg could i get an eb one work it and slap it on?? any info/input work be great cheers shoey

it is commonly acknowledged that the EF head is the best flowing head from EA to AU anyhow. Might be better to work the one you have and just throw on an EB one in the interim.

I was told that the EB XR head was the best flowing standard, and that the AU head was the best for porting etc. Is that bullcrap?

The EF is a good start with better stock ports and big enough valves in the XR versions.

The AU has smaller ports but with the big valves same as XR and narrower valve guides can be a better head with lots of work.
