Default Petrol tank

The fuel gauge in my NC is playing up. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Anyway I am guessing its the sender and am just wondering if these are the same as EB/ED units as they are far more common. Is the NC petrol tank different to EB/ED?
Cheers.

Yeah, same sender/fuel pump unit as a EB2/ED. Don't use an earlier one, they have a different sender unit.
Dunno if there is a difference in the tanks LWB v SWB though.
