Default Idle Problem

hey guys my cars been up to for a while now but seems to be getting worse. it seems to when i start it idle very low like 300rpm and blow black smoke for a couple of seconds until it picks up and run fine. it also happens sometimes when i dump it in nuetral or park and let off. was mucking around wioth it and just a thought i disconnected the MAP sensor electrcail fitting and the car seemed to pick up straight away, went to start it and it was fine.

i dunno alot about map sensors but my understanding is that the car wont run well at all with it disconnected any sugestions??

it could be your idle switch , have that replaced and see how it goes.
