Hi,
Looking at getting a LS or LT Focus for my wife who is currently driving a V6 Escape and is averaging 17 -18 L per 100km. As she is a real estate agent she only does short trips. So I was wondering what the consumption would be for a Auto Focus for this kind of driving? Thanks, Hoich

if they are very short trips and lots of them, expect around 10-12L/100kms.

My LS Auto gets between 10 - 12 l/100 depending on the distance of the trip through the suburbs.
On the open road I've seen it get down to about 7.8 (without reset after leaving the city)

When I purchased the car it was at 7.8, cant get it that low, but its constantly around 8.3-8.4 with a mix of city/hwy driving.

If it's lost of hard, stop/start city driving, then a Focus TDCi Powershift is a winner. DSG automatic with 2.0 TDCi and you'll average well under 10L/100km.
And I just noticed you said LS/LT so in taht case, you'll be restricted to a TDCi manual which would be just as good if your wife enjoys a manual. If not, then the auto petrol will be less efficient but still around the low 10-12's mark in heavy city driving.
