Good news for us Focus fans in the WRC. There's another team in the 2010 World Rally Championship that's going to be run by Ken Block.
I didn't know much about the guy but apparently he's a bit of a legend already. Check out some articles about the announcement of the new team on www.motorsport.com in the WRC Section of the site. Rumour also has it that Chris Atkinson will be his team-mate.

Ed,
If you haven't already, get on YouTube and search Ken Block. He is a bit better than average . . . . BIG bit better in my humble! Fredo

US rallying has a pretty low profile compared to the WRC. It will be interesting to see how he & Atko go.

Ken Block's pretty good (he is actually drumming up a lot of new interest in world rallying which is an awesome thing)
but this guy is just nuts. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d01VB...=youtube_gdata search more with his name if that video is crud, can be bothered downloading it on my phone.

Ken Block isn't he off the Simpsons...... oh Kent Brockman... ah ok cheers.
Yeh Ken Block wasn't in my awares until I saw that video of him skidding around that yard. Like some other people have mentioned because they tend to emerge from the X Games sector which pretty much is a U.S. Franchise they aren't all to well known until they rule it for a few years. As for WRC will be good seeing a new range of skill coming into the field, and going by his reputation and what I have seen so far he should do reasonably well in the championship. Ford Focus winning WRC Championship would be a nice ring...

That's an understatement as in the I.S.U. understandably NASCAR rules.

So much for free speach fordel. Yes it was a little harsh, but fast eddie should do his homework and not be so ignorant when he starts a thread. Especially if he is supposed to be a rally fan. Obviously no thick skin here

just need to be careful who you pick your "fights" with.
Ken block really is unknown and unproven in the world motorsport world. And if you don't watch a huge amount of TV, and don't spend all day on the intarwebs it wouldn't be hard to not know him.

If your a fan of the brand DC, Travis Pastrana/Nitro Circus and so on you would know who Ken Block is. I find it funny that there are so many threads started from someone who has just picked up the latest edition of whatever mag, and start spewing crap out on this forum. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, i apologise for being rude, but i dont think i broke any site rules. Some of the boys on this site need to harden up a little

There are a 'gazzilian' forums out there where propriety isn't required. It'll take seconds to find one and you'll be happier, we'll soon forget you, and the World will continue to rotate . . . .

well put fordel, people seem to have this misguided ideal of "free speech" which they treat like a birth-right to go and treat people like rubbish and generaly act like a knob-end.

I'll definatly be keeping a close eye on the championship this year.
Eddie do you know when the first round starts? Also do you know if Tom Chilton is continuing to campaign the Focus in the BTCC this year??? As you can tell, I'm a little out of it since this is the only site I can be bothered reading.

Would ppl act differently if fast eddie didn't have a disability? Was i aware of this, no i wasn't. Should this really matter? My son has a disability. I cant see how saying to harden up is "wannabe tough guy". Ban my account, cause melbzetec - typical white collar who wouldn't know $h!t from clay even if he tasted it. Fordel a young **** with a little bit of power. Typical keyboard warriors who really dont know anything. Pull your head from your a$$ and you might see whats happen in this world of ours.

No.....Fast Eddie is a decent human being, disability or not. His disability is irrelevant.
You sir, on the other hand, are a complete waste of space, and talk total trash. You know nothing about me. No doubt you will be banned. Excellent.
