just wondering how to connect a aftermarket tacho to a au falcon

They sit in the dash, not an the A Pillar or steering column, thereby rendering them too obvious to use! LOL. I've been resisting replying to this thread on rice grounds, but I couldn't hold out any longer.

You do not need to fit an aftermarket tacho. If you do really want to fit one, then it should come with fitting instructions - though good luck finding the +ve or -ve side of the (traditional, single) coil!

Maybe they are adding the tacho as it has a pretty shift light in it, as well all know for about $35 from jaycar build your own and have a nice day

my tacho in car doesnt work for some reason so was going to re wire it or buy a nother tacho but didnt know were to connect the wire to the coil
defenetly not a monster tacho

just use the service plug (has rpm output) to get your tach feed ,get your +/- from anywhere under dash, do a search on here youll find somthing

P.s I have found ripping a MTach out of a car is quite rewarding, I was tempted to rip it out while I was driving my new purchase home. PIA I tell ya
