Default au v8 oil cooler, oil filter attachment

just a quick question,

the part where the oil filter goes onto the oil cooler spacer/whatever you call it, is that just on there with a thread and rubber seal?

was doing a service today and the thing moved with the oil filter for a couple of cm's, so when i just put the new oil filter on i moved it back to where it was.

There should be a nut on the thread you screw the filter to holding it to the block.
