Get tri y, secondaries instead ;) only get comps if you plan to stroke, supercharge etc? tri y's are quicker street wise.

I can't remember the part number, but I went with the Pacemaker 4-2-1. I noticed a difference straight away once they were fitted.

You soon get used to it though, and start looking for more power, then the vicious cycle begins....

You have plans of supercharging so get the 4into1's, you'll kick yourself later if you dont.

PH4001's are pacemaker tri y's t0 suit AU v8's
PH4006's are pacemaker c0mp 4 int0 1's f0r AU.

We've fitted a few pairs 0f extract0rs t0 AU v8's and had better perf0rmance fr0m the c0mp 4 int0 1's 0ver the tri y's, 0n st0ck and w0rked cars. I d0 rec0mmend u g0 the c0mps, just be warned that they aint a nice fit with the b0lts int0 the heads, and it is w0rth y0ur while g0ing and getting a set 0f alley key headed unbreak0's instead 0f the supplied b0lts.

Als0 AU extract0r gaskets are different t0 n0rmal winds0r as the p0rt height is different, s0 make sure u get the c0rrect 0ne's 0therwise ur wasting ur extract0rs by bl0cking them 0ff 1/4 inch at t0p 0f p0rt.

The PH4006 Pacey Comps are great, I love them.

Dont let anyone talk you into "4-1's are too big....tri-y's make more torque" rubbish, they still have a small 1 5/8" primary and 2 1/4" collector.

Agreed they are a bit tricky around the bolts. I definitely recommend allen keys as well.

They retail for a lot more than the tri-ys, but you should be able to find them for a lot less than the RRP...

The other headers to look at are the Di Fillipo 1 3/4" 4-1s, especially if you are planning on a blower later down the track.

so what's the best bang for buck for a 200kw auto? tri-y's or comps? exhaust, cai and tune is all she'll ever get. I always thought the tri-y's would be best?
