down side is you will lose bottem end power :(

gains will vary depending which one you get. i had a 1004 112 and it was gutless till it hit 3000 but it wasnt dialed in so maybe that was my problem.

the idle will be quite lumpy.....i have tickford ECU so it was OK. u will also need to put double standard shims in, all wade cams are like this unless you ge billit. if you get it dialed in it should be OK.

The 1004 cam is a great option IMO, I was impressed with the low and mid range of the cam (better than stock cam on the dyno and by feel). For the auto I would probably go for the 114 grind as that will help the idle out a fair bit.

I have just put a worked head and a 1004-114 cam in my auto ef 6, the idle keeps hunting, any ideas? Im sure there are now vacuum leaks.

1004-114 should idle fine in an auto 6cyl. I had a 1004-110 and the bottom end was fantastic, the idle sucked though.

1004-114 or 1004-112 will be a good addition. Both should kick in arround 2200rpm and pull to 4900rpm.

Whats the lumpiest cam Wade make? is it the 1521a?

And what about the 977b or c or whatever it is? I didn't see anything on their site about this cam but I've seen people mention it on the forums. What power range is it good for?

the 977b is the high lift version of the 1004.
at a 111 phase.
