best colour xr6t 2005

have just ordered new xr6t and had selcted velocity, now not available. thinking of Blaze as next best. like lightning strike but feel to common across range??
any thoughts or help???

Shockwave, Black, Vixen, Mecury Silver or Winter White would be the ones I would pick from...

LS is a hard colour to match if you have a prang or the car needs a touch up on delivery....

I'm probably a hypocrite here with a winter white xr6, but i find that there are too many shockwave xt's running around, and the XR series looses a bit because of this. I like lightening stike too. (i didn't realise it was an all models colour, i have not seen any non xr/fpv cars with the colour). I think blaze is a terrible colour.

Velocity is being discontinued in august. (the lighter blueprint blue colour)

Mandarin is being discontinued this month.

I'd go velocity if i were you.

velocity is gone, yesterday i had to order and put a order in for blaze saw a couple and did not look to bad. I mainly want a colour in the xr range and blaze and rapid are only ones left.

ordered late yesterday as ford came back to me and said i cannot get velocity.

at the momenet it is blaze with gre interior.

Blaze is the worse colour yet for the XR... Acid Rush is even better then Blaze.

If your looking for resale get another colour... Id probarly go white if I went again as my last car was white and hell it was easy to look after.

Acid Ruch isnt a bad colour...... just not on such a big car, It would look better on a small car, like a datto ute or somthin

I'd even prefer rapid to blaze. But its your car, you have to drive it. So pick a colour you like.

Winter white on a XR looks sweet as.

I agree with Sundrifter Winter White stands out so much on the XR's, compared to the thousands of blue & silver XR's (blueprint and the like).

Until recently I probably would have gone for envi but since that's out of the equation, I would probably now go for shockwave. As for silhouette it's nice but in my opinion i always see black as a Fairmont Ghia/ Fairlane type colour.

But it's your car and ultimately your choice.

Furthermore I also think Rapid is nicer than blaze.

blaze is horrible. It will date quickly like acid rush has.
Red is the best on BA XR's i reckon, or shockwave, black or white.

Love my black, even though I didn't want it at the start. I'd prefer Lightening Strike or Rapid.

Used to like Blueprint but they are so common that it ruined the colour. Acid rush is revolting.

Thanks all, new member to site, and can advise that I altered colour to Lightning Strike with grey interior.

have always enjoyed sport cars as a youth, never had ford or holden, so i suppose when i take delivery in about a week will become part of the ford family...
