Default Holdens electric blue?

When I was at a car show I saw a HK Monaro, it was Electric Blue, does anybody know when the electric blue colour came out on the Holdens and is it exactly the same as the one on the XW/XY's as it looked slightly different on this car, looked like it wasnt metallic?

The display board said Electric Blue, and that was it's factory colour the spec sheet said. Now I'm confused!

Had a look on unique cars and parts and found this:

GENERAL MOTORS HOLDEN ELECTRA BLUE 2B017 1970 - METALLIC

Date says used the colour 1970 onwards, HK was 68/69 so little confused?
