Default www.Flashlube.com.au - Genuine good products that work

Hi,

Just thought I'd share a product that I use in my Diesel 4x4, and that I'm going to start to use in my Ford BA. The product is called "Flash Lube" and it is basically a fuel conditioner.

I am probably the biggest skeptic when it comes to products like these, but after seeing it used in one of my 4x4 videos, I thought I'd give it a go.

The result??

Landcruiser 60 Series 1985, 2H Diesel, 6 cylinder, indirect injection

* Better Economy: I was averaging 11.7L\100km. I'm now getting 11.2L\100km
* More Power: My diesel pumps out a ball tearing 39kw (when new!! Mines a reco diesel with 66,000km). It feels like I have a mini turbo attached.
* Smoother idle, cleaner oil: Idle is smoother, and oil noticeably cleaner. It's browny black, not the usual jet black!!
* Less smoke: My diesel has never smoked that much, but there has been an improvement from about 2000rpm-2300rpm (it revs out at 2500, and redlines at 3500!!)

I'm also going to try out the oil conditioner on my truck is nobody buys it. I'll check out the economy of the Ford after a couple of tanks.

This stuff has been around for years. Alot of people have a drip feed system on LPG cars.

Yeah flash lube isn't a scam like most additives you see. Its mostly used by people who have cars that used to run on Super (leaded). From what I understand it is more or less is an upper cylinder lubricant and helps protect the valve seats (which is what tetra-ethyl lead used to do in leaded fuel among other things).

I ran it on my LPG fairlane. Didnt really notice any extra power.

At least the motor didnt blow up

A 0.5 difference in fuel economy? How this can be measured so accuratley? On the BA the fuel economy changes weekly by 2-5L/km, depending where I go, if the Mrs drove it, what mood I/she was in at the time or what music I was playing!

Have mainly seen it on LPG vehicles ... and seems to work well for upper cylinder head lubrication (as LPG does lubricate as well as petrol does) ... it was mainly used for valve seats.

I was tempted to use it on my Falcon ute ... but haven't got around to it.

I use a diesel fuel conditioner from a small Melbourne based company called Dyna fuels.
The guy who makes it is a ex Shell chemist that has gone on his own and makes additives, THAT WORK!!.
His diesel max is awesome. Just 40mls or so with every tank full and it turned my old mans Hilux surf into a different car.
He went from 270kms per tank to 350 or so almost overnight!!!
I also use his de-carborniser fluid. You remove the fuel pick up and return lines and run them to a container with 600mls of diesel and 300mls of de-carb and let it run till it uses it all up. While its running you can see the fuel comming from the return line comming out black!
Then put some diesel max in the tank and the difference is amazing.
I have also been using Flashlube for many years, but mostly on Gas vehicles, and I know that it works, I have seen the proof first hand, where two similar vans were converted at the same time one had a flashlube the other not. The one with the lube did not need any valve adjustment at 40,000km the other one needed a massive adjustment to fix the clearance that went missing due to valves recessing into the head.

So I know what you mean. Its great when you finally find a additve that works!
Its not often that you do.

Fair enough for older cars but what effects would burning oil have on the oxygen sensor?

Flash lube is totally no invasive and has NO harmfull byproducts produced once it has passed through combustion. It is sensor safe.
Most diesels don't have a oxy sensor anyway.

If my diesel had an oxy censor...... I think i'd blow it up!!

I haven't been running flash lube in my diesel for about a month as I'm selling it. I can feel the difference. Don't know about fuel economy... haven't measured that yet
