You should've given a fourth option for your poll:

.....wait until I've turned 25

T-Series! Definately!

Re-sale, will be better than the others.
T-Series, are much rarer, especially T1, T2, you'll be much more noticed on the road. You'd be lucky to see a T1/T2 once a month. And you see the others every day on the road.

Stretch your budget to a TS50, for the leather, & sunroof & climate control etc, and the 220 motor. Or if your not to fussed on luxuries, and want power/manual, look at the TE.

Just my 2c. What would you rather turn over, a V8 Ghia, XR8 Ute, or T-Series. No-one would be able to wipe the smile off their face, after getting out of a T.

I take it your not rating 1.
I pay less than that for the BA but I guess I am 27 now.
I had the AU XR8 ute when I was 24 but I was rating 1 agreed value of $45,000 pretty sure it was about $1050
I guess insurance has gone up alot of late.

Anyways go the ute.
My AU was friggen great.
All the extra's apart form leather coz I didnt like it.
Lowered it and added an extra leaf to the rear, tinted and a custom exhaust that kicked ****.
When I first got the BA I wished I had never sold the AU. It was a bloody nice ute.
The BA in standard form wouldnt have touched the AU. Now the BA has all the mods, lowerd ect and a bit more go it's pretty good but I still miss the AU some times. Although a concreater bought it and it was just about stuffed last time I saw it...

Cheers........Kev

Gday Kev,

Im a rating one mate but ive had 2 speeding fines in the last 12 months, one of which was also a 1 month loss of licence due to doing 30km/h over the limit. I also had a claim last year, not at fault malicious damage but have been kept at rating 1 by RACV who are insuring my falcon at the moment. Just cars wouldnt accept the rating one even if i gave written proof from RACV.

Saw your BA ute at the Geelong AFD this year, very nice mate!

Half the problem is Hopper Crossing is a "high risk" area Brad. I asked when I got off the floor when I insured the XR down here.

My choices would be either the ute or the T-Series Brad!

Both are sporty, you will be surprised how helpful and handy yet comfy a ute can be, particularly with your own house, but depends on whether you will frequently take more than 1 passenger where the T series will be better

Hehe i pulled the rear seatbelts out of the falcon for that reason, sick of driving people around. No one is brave enough to get back there now:P

Dam speeding fines. Hate them little suckers. Think I only have 1 in last 4 years and it was in an ex's crumpledoor 61 in a 50. Was positive it was a 60 zone but Ohh well.

Not exactly a show car the BA. I go for the fun of it. Glad you liked it.

SO how are the decisions going? Have you came any closer to chosing a veichle?
If you remember my ute, puting a sunroof in your new AU ute would finish it off nicely.......

Cheers.............Kev
