How high is the gear stick in that XD?! It look ridiculous. The rest of the car is mint though.

that xd is also realy fast i think when i was talking to the owner last year he said it would do something like 260 in 3rd its an animal i love it

The XD was absolutely perfect.

Talking to the owner & the owners mate who has done a lot of work, they're still not completely happy with it. Have plans on making it better, they were picking up faults on it I couldn't see!

He said he's spent about 140k on it to date, Dick Johnson has helped him do some work (and his car is riddled in DJ's signatures). The car will be going on the dyno tomorrow and they're expecting between 750 and 1000HP.

He was a real nice bloke and I guess it helps he's a spray painter by trade!

I love these meets because there is so many friendly people, they're all willing to get in there and have a chat about their cars - and it's always just about the cars!!

Yep I seen that XD a few years ago at hungry jacks in geelong .. They guy works at Geelong Panel Works
XR8 Motor and Gearbox iirc

love the XH aswell.

i noticed aswell how high the gear stick is. lol. i wonder why.

i think the ba dash is the way to go with the x (newer) and e series looks really good.

high gear stick is for track racing look at a v8 super car means its less distance to move your hand from the stering weel

I can't believe how clean the engine bay is on the XH. Even the coolant resevoir is clean!
