Default Alloys for sale (Vic)

Sorry to post this in here, but I have 4 AU2 16" Ghia rims with new tyres for sale in the "spare parts" section - just letting you guys know in case you're interested but haven't had a look in there.

They are in great condition, 2 are unmarked, 2 have small kerb marks.

PM me with your fantastic offers!

Cheers,
FairmontPom.

OK, no responses so far... how much do you guys think I can get for these on ebay?

What about advertising them as "4 tyres with 4 free alloys" ?! :

There must be some Forte and Futuras out there needing rubber?

Also, any advice would be much appreciated, ie, other than ebay other places to advertise them that people have had good results with.

Cheers.

Hiya Pom,

my daughter has a Calais and ended up putting 18's on it. She couldn't get $100 for the standard Calais alloys (with near new tyres) on Holden forums.

She printed out a for sale adv + pic of one of the rims and stuck it up on our local Coles "community" notice board.

Sold that night for $500.

Might be worth a try?

Yep, good idea... haven't tried the supermarket noticeboard since I was flogging all my gear off when leaving England!

Cheers,

Yeah, thats a really good idea.

Lots of people on this forum already have alloys cos they're enthusiasts.

Most regular people are still running steelies with 3 wheel covers. So mags+tyres would be an awesome bonus for them.

Don't forget to mention that they fit AU's, BA's and BF's!

Yep, may get off my backside and print some notices up this weekend.

If I don't get any offers, I'll just keep them in the garage to put back on when I sell the car!

Cheers.
