Hi Sorry to "raise an old thread" however, I am looking at buying one of your systems for a G6ET. Wondering if the price is a sper website still of $1195?

I presume this integrates with the standard ICC just fine? Having just sold a MY10 wrx with gat nav, I am really missing it and want something similar. Also, how long do you need for an install and where in Melbourne can I have it done?

Please let me know.

compared to the subey nav its not as good...might be better of with a tomtom etc....ive used my in car nav all of 3 times as it really doesnt do it for me.,. tom tom is much more pleasing.

our nav kit intergrades with the factory color screen for video and sound intergrades with factor speakers so there is no ugly tom tom on ur windscreen and voice well heard as it overides sound depending on waht u listening to, been a g6et u will need a bypass for you factory reverse camera so it allows u the auto switching in between nab and camera, we are located 13 commercial dve lynbrook vic, we fit here as well the kitcomes with 2 yrs of free map updates ph 0397991444 or email fadi@aslautomedia.com

Have recently purchased FG FPV GS with colour screen and reverse sensors.
What is the cost of integrated GPS Unit?

Also I live in Hemmant QLD 4174.

Can you recommend a fitter in this area.

Just a couple of questions? Who can supply and do the fitout in Perth. Also how do you switch from satnav to stereo etc..

any ford dealer can fit for you, we do recommend Lande ford please ask for Cliff Beattie. We also use A1 car audio for fitment ask for Tony

the nav comes on automatically once you press power button on remote.

our maps will not work on your OEM nav, best if you contact a VDO agent and check with them.

you can order a new map for this system from whereis.com.au (aftermarket in dash nav > vdo dayton > ms5200 section) for roughly 200 aud, v19 was just released end of year 2012

Last remote i got for my 2009 g6e t was from a auto elec down springvale vict (around springvale road &wellington road
I rang vdo and they put me onto them ,perhaps same method can put you onto some

Thanks mate! unfortunately it's not the VDO factory unit but some kinda generic unit that ASL have put their brand on. It's possible a VDO remote might work.

If anyone has one of these units fitted (ASL SatNav Gen 3) I'd be grateful if you could post up a pic of the remote.
