Default Leak off pipes

Hi all
I recently had the leak off pipes replaced due to one leaking (which ultimately caused a small fire under the bonnet ).
A certified reputable mechanic did this replacement . Unfortunately the leak off pipes keep popping out , it’s not always the same one .
The clips are new also, also no pressure issues .
Has anyone had this problem and been able to solve it . I can’t really drive it as you never know when one is going to pop out .
2010 mondeo titanium tdci

Metal cips or green plastic tabs?

They changed sometime in 2010 I gather.

http://www.catcar.info/ford/?lang=en...ODg4OCsxMzM%3D

shows (9A317) a metal clip.

These potentially get weaker by over extension when installing.
Solution might be to bend them back a bit. They should be installed before the leak off pipe is pressed in.

Another idea is to cable tie them in as emergency backup.

I googled it out of interest, no problems with mine, plastic tabs.
