^^lol, i think you would need a bit more than that...put it this way, to get that much power it probably wouldn't be roadworthy, let alone registerable, and even if it was, can you imagine driving around suburbs doing 60km/h in a car with 300rwkw?

there is a EL XR6 turboed putting out 451 rwkw on this forum. Pyroay is the guys u/name i think?

plus there are plenty of XR6T's and F6 Typhoons putting out well over 300 and even 400 rwkw's.

to do that in an AU though would require some major rebuilding of the motor and driveline etc.

on that note, it's probably easier to get a car that comes from the factory with prob around 220rwkw, tuned and built up to get that sort of power than an au which in stock auto form is probably lucky to have 110rwkw...then again for the price au's or at least au engines can be had these days, it would probably cost a lot less than 56 odd grand for an f6 + more for the mods done to it

don't get me wrong, if i had the money to do it i'd love to build a 400+rwkw au i6 just for something different...

Plus at least another 50 if you stick the K&N sticker on the front 1/4 panel - but it has to be below the indicator. You get too much drag if it's above.

Don't forget the easiest and cheapest way to make real power and faster 0-100 is to remove the passenger front mudflap.

edit - the post above came in while I was typing. Dr Phil would probably best to talk to about this matter.

Dr Phil is obviously not a Doctor, just a nic for a good Ford tuner.

The exception to the rule of course is when you put the massive ford sticker accross the windscreen

Look, it's a Ford 6. It's lucky to rev to 6000rpm. It's a family car, and is built to drive the car at a reasonable level of acceleration, speed, Australian Standards and car design rules, and comfort. Modify it, and you will achieve more power, better torque etc, but maybe at the expense of fuel economy, emmissions, etc.

Even with a huffer from factory, the best a 4.0 I6 can get is around 270kw (about 230 at the wheels) - that's for the FPV Typhoon, and that's with full factory warranty. Of course you can get an AU I6 (any Ford I6) to 300rwkw, but only if the exhaust includes a big Turbo, and only if you spend some big $$$$ building the engine properly (of course you don't need to build it properly to hit that power level, only if you want to keep it).

The standard filter and exhaust mods may gain 10rwkw, if you're lucky. Add an eidt/flash tune and you may pick up another 10 or so.

Best power release/unleasher between 0 & 40km/h for the I6 auto - swap it for an I6 manual.
